Who You Talk To

Subsequentconspiracy Windows & Siding does not employ installers. You speak with an independent provider from our network. That provider is a separate business that quotes and performs the work on its own terms.

What Happens After You Reach Out

You send a request or Request a callback to check provider availability. A provider then asks about your project. Expect questions like these:

  • How many windows, or how much siding?
  • How old is the house?
  • What problems have you seen, such as drafts, fogged glass, soft wood or loose boards?
  • Has anything been repaired or replaced before?

Be honest and specific. Photos help. Window requests generally need at least two windows.

What to Ask a Provider

Slow down and ask. Do write the answers down.

  • Are you licensed and insured in my state? Can I see proof?
  • What will the written estimate include and exclude?
  • How will you check for rot, old layers or moisture in an older home?
  • What happens if you find damage after the old material is removed?
  • Which brands and materials do you use, and what are the warranty terms in writing?
  • Who will do the work, and how long is the schedule?

Do not pay a large deposit before you read the contract. Do not sign on the spot because someone says a price will vanish.

You Are in Control

You can get several estimates. You can say no. You can ask for changes. Costs vary by job, so ask each provider to put the price, scope and timing in writing. Compare, then decide.

Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim, but your insurer makes the final decision.
